Marcus Corporation and its Associates actively support the Communities in which we live, through
the following programs:
United Performing Arts Fund
During the past two years, Marcus Corporation raised over $125,000 to support the Arts in Southeastern Wisconsin. UPAF donations go to schools, outreach programs and thousands of individuals. Our most recent campaign encouraged employees to donate through participation in fun activities-- scooter races, an online auction, and our very own competitive version of American Idol.
United Way
Marcus associates exceeded our 2007 goal, raising over $150,000 for United Way. Employees had fun while giving by volunteering during the "Day of Caring," participating in various activities including jeans day, putting contests and many other fundraising events.
Junior Achievement
Over the past several years Marcus associates raised funds and participated in Junior Acheivement's Bowl A Thon, a fundraiser bowling event featuring teams dressed in 70's and 80's themed attire. In addition, Marcus associates participate in facilitating excellence through ethics programs to middle and high-school students in the Greater Milwaukee area.
